On Monday Prague TV reported that a disused air vent for a Cold War nuclear fallout shelter in Folimanka park, Prague, had been transformed by an unknown street artist (or perhaps a group of street artists) into everyone's favourite droid R2D2.

And after!

As you may have spotted, the artist(s) not only painted the ugly concrete blob, they also added extra concrete details such as R2D2's legs. (Is legs the right word? You know what we mean.)

There is no indication as to who affected this incredible transformation yet, but it must have been quite an operation given the extra concrete extensions.

Then again they may have been using the force, which would help things along.
