Starbucks,Insaaf (2023) EP 2 Hindi Web Series get it together. People want their Pumpkin Spice Lattes and they want them NOW.

As previously reported, Starbucks and its official Pumpkin Spice Latte Twitter account have been teasing the return of the fall-flavored favorite all week, hinting that the announcement would be made on September 1 on Starbucks' Facebook page.

Well, it's the first and all we got was this weird livestream.

According to Business Insider, Starbucks started airing this Facebook Live video titled "PSL Pumpkin Hatch" at 11 a.m. Friday morning.

In response to everyone's "WTF, when can we get the PSL?" comments, Starbucks commented with this:

Huh. This livestream looks a little familiar. Remember April the Giraffe? If this is an ode to her livestream, Starbucks is trolling hardcore, but instead of excitement, customers are pissed.

The drink's official Twitter account also tweeted this in response the start of the livestream.

People on Twitter aren't as psyched as this hip PSL.

"[T]he road to PSL's return will be livestreamed 24/7 on Facebook for all his fans to see," a Starbucks spokesperson told Business Insider. "Keep an eye on the livestream and ultimately the official launch time for Starbucks PSL will be revealed!". She also said that the video will have "potential clues" to when the Pumpkin Spice Latte will officially launch in stores.

Soooo ... we can't get it yet? Is that what this means?

Not only is this message confusing to customers, it also seems to be baffling Starbucks employees, who don't know if they're allowed to start selling the famous PSL or not.

Even though some U.S. Starbucks locations have already advertised the September 1 launch date, the company has yet to release the officiallaunch date. Some customers have successfully ordered the PSL by simply asking the barista for one, while others have been denied the tasty treat. One woman who wrote to Starbucks on Facebook complained that her husband was served a Pumpkin Spice Latte just an hour before her own request was denied, while others in various locations have posted photos of their freshly ordered PSL in hand.

So, who can order the PSL and who can't?

According to one person on the Starbucks subreddit, corporate may have possibly changed the drink's release date, which could've lead to some confusion in individual stores. People seem to be ordering the drink regardless and tipping their baristas extra for the trouble. It's still completely unclear who can serve the drink and who cannot.

This current social media stunt may be an extension of one from past years, where customers were sent on an online scavenger hunt in order to get early access to the drink. So as fun as this PSL livestream may seem, it's making people confused and angry -- something you definitely don't want from a coffee drinker.

The only thing to do is to keep an eye on this Facebook Live and hope a baby Pumpkin Spice Latte will hatch soon.Or test your luck by asking nicely, tip in hand.
